Baptism of Panida

She was a new believer in 2008 she gradually growing in Christ then her husband, Nat came to know the Lord in 2010. They both are my good friends who have been going to Mahapawn Bangkok Church in order to learn about God.
I praise God that He never give up. Every time when I had spiritual conversations with Nat when he was a non believer. I had zero hope for this man to open his heart for Jesus but we kept hangout and Nat always came up with lot of questions.
For me it such a long progress to see the growth but our relationship is matter. I am so blessed by being a part of their life and to see God works in something that I cannot do.

Puum

Some of you may heard about the story of the bar ladies (prostitutes) those who became Christian in the past three months. In the beginning my friend Nida and Puum were helping them to learn about the new life and in last October the group had stopped because of some reasons.

Puum used to be a member in my discipleship group when she was a student at Ramkumheang University (in 2008). Now she is working at an International Church's office in down town of Bangkok where is near the bars that the prostitutes work.

Puum said "It is uneasy for me to mentor them because their lives are so complicated and all the sexual issues are spiritual warfare." She has been fighting with the bad spirit and one night while she was awake. "I saw two men and a lady walk to me in my room with one of my disciple. I asked them 'What are you doing here?' and they said they're coming to pray for me. Then they laid their hands on my head and started cursing on me. I was frighten and fearful so I cried out the name 'JESUS, JESUS, JESUS...!!' I felt heavy all my whole body and can't move. Then I kept say the name out loud until the strong wind came toward me and released the heaviness from me. The wind moved out through the window and those people were gone."

This is amazing how the darkness power is so real and God is the hero. Please keep Puum in your prayers and her will to move on to disciple those new believers who are seeking the real freedom in Christ Jesus.

Ta Kua

I have been making friend with this boy at the tire shop near Thailand CCC office in Bangkok. His name is Ta Kua. He's helping his dad working at this shop. He doesn't like school and love racing by his illegal racing moped on the road. I love to talk to him when getting service over there. Finally I got him a bible and Jesus movie in Thai VCD. It would be nice if you keep his salvation in your prayers.

Gook, Aum and Ann

Praise The Lord that I got a chance to see Gook and Aum in Chiangmai University. In order to connected them to Ann my good friend who is serving with a church called "The Light". Ann and her husband are working as the core leaders of this Church. Gook and Aum are the students who Joy and I used to hangout and shared the Gospel with when we were in Chiangmai.

BONDAGE BREAKER

This is amazed me when I heard about the prostitutes came to know the Lord and start coming to our Ram Student Center. Of corse they are not students but we embrace them as the sisters in Christ. The first one who became Christian name “R”. She knew Jesus from the jail in Hong Kong when she got arrested in May 2012. Then she came back to Thailand and was searching for a church that brought her to get to know Koy and Puum who are working at the office of Evangelical Church of Bangkok. She wasn’t really understand when she went to the worship service for English speakers. So Koy and Puum invited her to Thai student fellowship on Sunday at Ram Student Center. She brought two friends with her at that first time and they both accepted Christ as their Savior. R got very excited and enthusiastic to share the Gospel by Jesus movies to her friends at the bar where she works in Bangkok downtown.
On last Tuesday July 3rd. I bought a book for her name “Bandage Breaker” written by Neil T. Anderson (Thai version) she was so happy and in the same day there were two more ladies who work at the same bar had received Jesus. Now my friend Nida is helping R to grow in her new life with Christ and follow up all four prostitutes. Some of them are thinking about to quit their job but the obstacles are on the way. They are non educated people and their job can make around 10,000-20,000 baht per week. (1 USD = 30 Baht). If you are really touched by this story please keep all of them in your prayers. Thank you.

KCCC Season

I'm so glad to met our old friend Myong Jin who we used to work on campus together in the summer of 2002 and 2003. This year her husband David and Irine (little girl in the front) her daughter came with the team. David had led 8 students from IL and LA for the mission in Konkean, Isan (Northeast). Definitely the guest house in Bangkok pretty busy to check in and check out our Korean American friends who come for outreach in Thailand this summer. All we needs is pray for the follow up with the new believers & the people who are interesting to understand the Gospel. Also for a few teams that are coming in July as the second wave to go to many campuses around Thailand.
(KCCC is Korean Campus Crusade for Christ) Thailand CCC has been partnering with Korean American CCC for the summer mission since 2002.

Feeding Homeless

I had walked pass this lady while she was sleeping on the street in Sunday morning. After I met the team from Evangelical Church of Bangkok for praying before we went out shared food for the homeless, I came back and asked her "Are you hungry?". She said "Yes" so I started talking to her more while I gave her food. I found out that she works as a prostitute for the foreigner near Kao-san Road area. She heard about Jesus before, please pray for her salvation and understand the Gospel.

Real Smiles :)

Touching the difference people is the first step for life changed.
John 10:14-16 said " I am the good shepherd,......and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also......."
I never have this kind of experience to helping dentist mobile clinic before. Lots of unpredictable, remote area, tribal communities and the christian orphanage. I end up translated for the dentist and helped out all missing spots of six days work with the dentist team who came to help the unfortunates in Chiangrai. Schools, churches and orphanage were blessed by the team.

Moving forward.

As I have been working on the building maintenance in Bangkok. I was thinking about follow up the new believers in Chiangmai but there is no opening placement to fit me in that area to minister those high school kids.
However I'm learning to fill the needs of the organization according to Jeremiah 29:7 "Also seek the peace and prosperity of the city......". I have had asked by the leaders to be in charge of supervise all ThaiCCC buildings[Student Centers, office, houses & facilities] in Bangkok (Central), Chiangmai & Chiangrai (North), Konkean (Northeast) and maybe in the South (but I hope not).

Well sounds like God's plan is bigger than my thought. I definitely get opportunities to see the girls and boys when I go to Chiangmai.
Now I really thankful that God let me got a degree of Interior Design (from college) and gifted me in order to work with Him. And I pray that you will be the bless to your workplace, your boss, your colleagues and your family. Also being healthy and wealthy in every area of your life..!!!

In order to searching what God has for me in the next step. The new assignment is in the process of the leadership meeting. There is a major change of Thailand CCC in this couple month its about reengineering the organization.
By the way I just found out that I got 3*2.7 cm tumor at the uterus yesterday.
You may got my thanks for the prayers. Thank you so much for your partner.

Renew vision.

I sent Joy back to US. after she finished her promise to serve in Thailand for 7 months. That mean now I'm in the transition time of the new assignment. I never regret for helping her to grow in faith and step out for the mission instead of pursue the Christian Education degree in the States. I trust that she would be the shepherd for the others in America as she did in Thailand.
